2011 Volunteer Projects:

  • Article: Moonshine Memories Still Linger in Newcastle. "Rumor has it that this moonshine still once belonged to
    former Newcastle resident Lee Martin. Lee's son, Frank Martin, estimates that between the 1940s until the early
    1950s, he helped his father make almost 10,000 gallons of moonshine."

  • Song lyric editing: Delusion Squared's second album release anticipated for Spring, 2012.



2010 Volunteer Projects:

  • Song lyric editing: Delusion Squared, a progressive rock band from France. The band was created in 2009 by
    Steven Francis, Emmanuel de Saint Méen and Lorraine Young, and released its eponymic debut album in
    September 2010. The album was nominated for Best 2010 Progressive Rock Debut Record.

  • Press release: Holiday pet care press release for HomePetVet located on Mercer Island, WA. HomePetVet is a
    James Herriot-styled veterinary practice making house calls for dogs and cats since 1991. Pet safety tips for the
    holidays.



2009 Volunteer Projects:

  • Grant writing: Wrote and won King County, WA and Seattle city grants--4Culture Historic Preservation Grant
    Award ($2,000) and Allied Arts of Seattle Grant Award ($600). These grants were awarded for the purpose of
    promoting cultural awareness of six Pacific Northwest historic pioneer cemeteries.
